I've written a book. It has a start, an end, and a bit in the middle.

With a a protagonist, a lover, a hidden secret, and an evil overlord the story begins in the 8th Century. It tells of seven knights, who under the threat of death, escape Paris and ride to South West France in search of safety and a new life. The king, indebted to the knights for their loyal service allocates each an area of land to rule; one however felt unjustly rewarded. Unrest in Medieval France around this time ensures that independently they would not be able to protect their land, only together can they survive.

The book is fiction, but has been researched, and the history is based on fact. It is in 14 chapters (including Prologue) and the word count is over 60 thousand. I was forced to place it in an age range I would say adult (or young adult). It is neither the Iliad nor the Hungry Caterpillar, just a story that I hope you will enjoy.
